I played the Steam version and this version both, and I've got to agree with that one guy on the Steam forums in the thread "Feedback for Version 0.1.8.1" regarding the balance of the characters. There have been MAJOR improvements over the last iteration of the game, as most characters feel balanced or close to balanced. I've also seen the same bugs in the same poster's post in the Steam bug report forum, as what was posted was easily replicated.
