A cool idea, with a nice difficulty curve through the levels.

I'd like to have seen you lean in harder on the concept, and make the trap move like a trap instead of a character.

If I'm killing a player, it would be nice to see them die. Heh... I mean, either explode into particles, or fall out of the level like Mario.

Overall, a cool, simple concept, executed well. I liked it.
