I am playing from a PC and already tried running it as an administrator. The same thing happened. Could it be an issue associated with the antivirus?
Maybe, It looks like a permission issue because I'm not a "trusted" or "official" developer.
I'll try to fix it because I really wanna try your game. I'll hopefully come back with a review.

Seems like there was an issue with my antivirus. As soon as I paused the antivirus I could run the game and vice versa. Thanks for the interest in my problem.
You're welcome! Now, if you choose to play the hard mode, this antivirus issue would seem a very easy challenge.
