Anyone know how to get past the mirror without either you or rinny getting sucked in? If that's mandatory, does anyone know how to open the gate?

it is mandatory for Rinny to get stuck. You could also get stuck, but that leads to a bad ending.
How do you open the gate then?
Edit: Ah, ok. Just have to go to the headstones between the two halves of the graveyard.
