EDIT: after putting an hour or three into the game I was able to beat all maps on easy and normal mode and working on hard mode. You just have to put some faith into the game and unlock new cars which drive WAY better than the starter one. Once you learn the game you can beat it if you have an hour to spare. Pretty fun game once you get the hang of drift cancelling and all that. Drift cancelling works the best with cars with really good stability like the tofu mobile and the second car you unlock. When turning a corner you basically just tap A or D depending on the angle of the corner and then just press the opposite key until you go straight. Don't hold it for too long otherwise you will spin out of control. Use the NPC's bad AI to your advantage and grapple on to them to knock them off which gives you a MASSIVE head start and it makes turning corners easier because you have a surface to support you. I recommend just playing easy mode until you get the hang of it then go into normal mode to get a new car which really pays off. I also think it's semi-intended to use the car you just unlocked with the new level you also unlocked because it may require certain stats that the car has to pass it in normal.
