This was a surprisingly fun little game! I've seen games with this kind of gameplay before, but I hadn't been expecting to see one in this jam.

I think the balance could use some work, and a few elements could use some cleanup or clarification. It's not clear how many magical girls you need to defend against each enemy, or what happens when they're defeated. The balance also seems a little weird- it took me a while to spawn a new magical girl, and they're so expensive that I ended each wave with zero money.

The UI also appears to be a bit broken; the stat labels aren't lined up with the boxes which is pretty confusing.

The music is nice and the graphics are visually pleasing, but the whole things feels... it's hard to describe. Sterile, maybe, or formulaic. I think this stems directly from the use of stock assets and the choice of assets as well.

I think this would work really well as a mobile game, though it's nice in the browser as well.
