It's a very cryptic game. I'm not going to lie, I think people would quit the game long before I have figured everything out.
I do like the game and I wanted to play till the very end, but the game also crashed on me twice, so I didn't think it was worth it. I only got up to 1 out of 4 genes. There were also times where the game refused to let me take items out of the chests but allowed me to put items back in. I think this is a bug. Lastly, I think I saw a message that said press E to equip item, that does not work. It only makes you move up to the right. You need to press "I" then press the space bar to equip it. I dunno, I probably misread it.
If your going to make a game like this in the future, I just want to say that I like how you designed the game so that it constantly gives you hints on how to play, but I would also like to explain what the letters represent in the game world.
