i know all i get is stone i dont get metal ore
That is cause you dont always get metal when you mine it. This was made for balance i think and to make it so the game does not seem too easy.
Yes, it was an attempt to balance what we have. We will be evolving and improving the whole mining side of things moving forwards (but no promises when yet).
