Enjoyable game loop! I had two issues, which I think can be easily solved - one was I'd like to get extra lives (maybe every 100 points?) and another is I'd like to be able to solve the 7/10 split problem - when two aliens come down fast on opposite sides of the screen and I'm in the middle. Maybe give me a mothership across the middle occasionally who gives a smart bomb when I shoot her down? Still, had fun playing, thanks!
