Maven saw the shooting star and was obviously confused but she kinda brushed it off she thought about how it was her birthday tomorrow and started to cry a bit as soon as she started to cry she looked at the sky and smiled a bit still crying she reached out for the moon and smiled fully
"as long as i've got you to talk to..im happy.."
her dad came to her balcony and said
"Maven..tomorrow you have to pick a man who will willingly take your hand in marriage as for him also.."
"Dad..you know i don't want to get married..im only 15 turning 16 tomorrow.."
"Maven..i do not want to hear that inappropriate language...especially from your father..you shall respect me in a respectful major.."
"Dad..I don't want to get married..that is final."
"Maven..your getting married.."
"Dad..let me love someone..let me be happy with someone who thinks i look pretty like this!.."
she turned around with red puffy eyes and ruined mascara she looked at him with tears in her eyes she looked at him in a way that would make you absolutely melt of sadness
"Maven..where is your makeup..where is it..now..you need to cover that up.."
"Are you fucking kidding me..you can't even look me in the eyes and tell me i look pretty..that's a fucking shame..i've been dealing with this for the longest..I am done with your bullshit..!"
her voice sounded as hard as rock yet if she cried it would soften in a bit she already had a tear in her eyes and her voice had already been starting to break

he signed and thought -whats the use- he left her room
she looked at the moon and broke down in tears her eyes were red and she smiled
