Maven wakes up and sits up a bit she didn't see asrian

"Was it a dream..?"

Asrian: Mn...

He was laying in the bed next to her, curled up on his side asleep. His glow illuminating the room a bit and providing some light in the darkness

she turned around and saw him she laid down again and set her hand on his cheek and smiled

"good..it wasn't a dream.."

her dad walked in and she turned around and saw him she turned back around towards asrian

He's smiling in his sleep, just radiating peace and warmth.

"happy birthday Maven..know get ready to find a man to love!.."

"Dad..I already found someone..he's a god..and mom approves..so go please.."

"I'm not gonna belive you..why would i anyway..you would lie to get out of marriage"

"Dad..I'm not lying..I think this good is ok for me..now leave please.."

"Get out of bed and get dressed..now."

"No..I found som-"

he walked over to her and slapped her she moved back a bit kinda falling on Asrian's back tears started to fall down her face

"y-you..you h-hit..m-me.."

Asrian wakes up with a start

"W-whuh...? M-Maven!?

she looked at her dad with tears filled in her eyes

"you hit me..y-you..you..w-why..why..Why..WHY..WHY..!.."

He hugs Maven tightly but gently from behind, filling her with his warmth and comfort, soothing her

"M-Maven, what's going on!?"

she turned around with a red mark on her cheek and she looked at him scared she was warm but she still felt hurt

"h-he..he..h-hit me.."
