I like the game premise and as usual the graphics are great although would like the animations in the gallery too. That said, I feel like there are a few things that really punish the players' normal intuition:

1) Fall damage is harsh, particularly if you were jumping. It can almost double the damage if you jump of a ledge and quite bad from the rope even if you technically landed safely. It seems intentionally part of the game but goes against typical expectations for similar platformer games.

2) There's no additional left/right momentum once you've jumped. Getting over some small steps becomes really difficult trying to find that sweet spot rather than allowing the player to drift left/right after jumping

3) Sometimes it's hard to tell whether you can grab onto rope or not. Intuition would be that once you've leapt, you should be able to grab onto rope but you can't. It took me a while to figure it was safer to fall and grab the rope.

For the price, it's well worth it but I think I'll wait for the next update at least first.

Hello there,

Thank you for your feedback.

All things you have mentioned above are done to make the game a bit challenging.

1) If you are getting damage even after simple jump try setting monitor refresh rate to 60Hz (if you haven't already). One of the user figured out this solution for that issue. I will add an option to turn it off, so that anyone want the game challenging can keep it on.

2) You jump on sides you can decrease your speed by pressing opposite direction button. For jumping on same spot I will add some code to move left or right.

3) I gonna keep this one as it is. I find it useful when you wanna bunny hop your way anywhere. I know this is not something anyone would expect on the first play. That's why I have mentioned it in some part of tutorial in level 1(if level 1 is not completed).

Hi LAGS!! Hailey's Treasure is my favorite mobile game of all. I'm really a fan of the concept, of all. I would so love to be able to give lots of suggestions, I also created FanArts, are you interested? I beg you, contact me so that we can discuss it ;)
