Really cool idea. I'm a sucker for roguelik...roguelites and so you get plus points just for that :)
I did get stuck on the lower level:
I was unable to move and/or get damaged. The tongue-upgrade was not purchased, only the lemon-zest thingy.
Cool artstyle and variety :)
The music was a little too energetic for my taste.
Overall pretty well done.
