I started an itch.io account solely to play this game and give recommendations on how it can well and truly improve!

  • You know the boxes with the stars on them that appear randomly per floor? I suggest a button input that allows players to reject an upgrade, because some attack at low / mid-upgrade are appealing and efficient. Another neat alternative to this is maybe instead of upgrading to the next attack, allow players to keep the attack that they like and instead raise it's damage property, so they can enjoy their moveset AND keep up against later enemies
  • If someone beats the final boss twice, they should unlock a custom starter moveset, where they can pick between 3-4 actions of their choice and order. (excluding MAX-Level Upgrades)
  • Modes! There should be separate playthrough paths starting with Story Mode, which obviously includes what this prototype gives us, plus whatever comes in future updates, alphas / betas. A Sandbox Mode where players can use cheat codes, create whatever movesets they want, spawn enemies, immortality options, et cetera. Finally, and most definitely, an Endless Mode where the building is never-ending in height and the enemies only get stronger and more combat-adaptive by the floor. My suggestion for a Multiplayer mode are split into two sub-modes: 1. A Co-op mode where players are in a single large room on one floor together and enemies appear from elevators, windows, doors and vents, and the players must survive for as long as they can. 2. A VS. mode where players fight through their own separate buildings on either separate screens or some weird kind of mini-map or camera and the player on the highest floor wins, either by time limit or if all  but one have either died to enemies or have fallen behind to the bottom of their screen. (The screen mechanic would be similar to how the camera in Speedrunners works, but instead of following a weird track, the camera continuously goes upwards while still following the player in the very lead.)
  • Players should be able to unlock costumes / customizations like hats, suits, ties, bows, haircuts, watches and other things. These should be done by completing story tasks, winning in online games or through earning certain awards and achievements.
  • *THIS ONE CONTAINS SPOILERS - READ AT YOUR OWN RISK* Another thing that makes this game so damn enjoyable is the funny hints and references throughout it, like around the intro to a New Game where you "fire" your friend and he mentions Fortnite and the end, or when you beat the final boss and the ending's dialogue tree reveals his name is Jeff Bezos, which refers to the CEO of Amazon. I hope to see more absurd references or even some homages to some popular TV shows or games. (Tread lightly though, no-one  wants to get sued lmao)

All ideas on improvement aside, this game is the living embodiment of pure potential. So for the love of Jesus H. fucking Christ of Nazareth, do NOT waste it.

You do know that this game is pretty new still, right?

That's why they're giving recommendations

But, there's probably still somethings the devs are working on, which means they are busy, which means they can't accept the recommendations yet

Community feedback is important at any stage of a game

no, i totally refuse to believe that
