Congratulations on the start of what I believe to be another masterpiece.
The concern you might have with the plot twist at the end of this chapter I feel is unwarranted, It adds an air of individuality about Visual Novel genre just like GoT did when they started culling the main characters. It shows that this story line is in a league of its own. I'm chomping at the bit to see what else you have lined up.
Just keep this up and you'll wonderous things my friend.
Thank you, I appreciate that! And you're right, there's a lot that's going to come of this first chapter's ending. Unfortunately, it did leave a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. But it'll be worth it in the end. We're going to see a lot of character development from it and the story really opens up now.
I'm sure glad you enjoyed it! The next Chapter is ambitious so it's going to take some time but I'm working hard and hope to have it finished before the end of July.
