Requires you to be at least on day 35 (or day 40 if you haven’t completed “saving the master”). Enter the lizard vilage and Nauxus appears. He will say something about camps atacks. Same with Axel, but different dialogue. Go sleep in the Tavern, here will be "You feel blood lust. Are you ready for it?".

I'm currently on day 59, and I've finished "Saving the Master," but I've checked both tribes, and I don't think the event is triggering

May be you didn't do something before. Try to check FAQ 'cuz here are 4 routes, hard to tell where and why u stuck.
Or say wich route you took and last tribe quest you done.

I have the same issue too, im doing the neutral route (kill spy, fear potion, unite lizards, give fruits to the bulls, stop execution)
im on day 62 and i have finished saving the maaster.
