GAMEPLAY
Dodgem Royale is a simple 2D "autodrome" simulation where you try to last as long as you can without colliding with the other karts. You are assigned with kart hp above, so you have few chances to recover from few hits. At the beginning I wasn't sure what I was looking at until the background sound started, it was an "AUTODROME!!!", it took me back few year later when the autodrome owner yelled at me to not collide with other karts, heh. Nicely shown controls on the track. You have chance to move around on the track before starting the game (which is nice). Maybe could change the "esc" key so it would pause the game and open a small menu with option to resume the game or go back to menu instead of going straight back to menu.
THEME
Follows the theme, even it is written in it's name, could also cover the optional theme as well.
AESTHETICS
The Aesthetics of Dodgem Royale were amazing, track, karts, cool wheel trails and smoke effect left behind anyone who is low on hp. I'm not sure if it was intended or not but the logo in the menu was slightly off the grid, the guy in the kart wasn't on the empty position for "O" but went little lower between the "O" and "Y" letters instead.
SOUND
Good choice of audio, adjustable volume in options. No need to say more, perfection.
CONCLUSION
Amazing work, no flaws just small things I have noticed, which aren't even important. I'm breatheless and my jawbone is on the floor.
