The brothel will convert you into a (pretty shitty as of current, like a worse enchanter), class, and prevent you from making any good gains from brothel work too. The dignity loss and lust gains can also burn your willpower in some situations.

Keys are on start or bought only, unfortunatly.

Money can be gained semi nicely through caches, doing brothel missions for the blonde lady for a bit, or beefing up enough to consistently do arena fights, which is where real money at, findable in Monsters, the town.

Hey, thanks for replying. So, I guess there's no other way to get the chastity cage off? And is the arena in the Town of Salijam? Because I can't see it if so. Or is Monsters the name of the town it's in?

Nah there's no other way to remove it, unless you want to edit your save manually to remove it (although that can break your save if you mess anything up, resulting in starting over). Also, you can throw away the key after you acquire it; and no other merchant besides the Blacksmith seems to sell it in the game; so be careful not to throw it away once you acquire it.

Yeah the Arena is in the "Town of Monsters"; which is the next town, and past the Mermaid. Depending on the RNG of your PC's Encounter spawns (when creating your PC) you might have to defeat her or sex her to pass (unless your PC has high enough Charisma), so it might be advisable to just level up in the starting area for a bit.

I'd suggest not buying meat tbh; sleeping at the inn (in both the Town of Salijam and the Town of Monsters) yields more food per gold than buying meat. There's also the Dryad encounters which if your PC has high enough Charisma they'll be given food.

If you can level up your PC in the starting area (and get lucky with cache spawns in that area as well), and get sufficient food from the inn; you'll be able to traverse to the Town of Monsters (even if you have to defeat the Mermaid to get to the town it won't lock you out of sexing her later), and can then get the 100 gold you need (although I'd suggest being around level 10+ before attempting to fight in the Arena; pref 15-17). Your PC will need the Sunderer perk to negate armor, and pretty decent Strength (usually 5 or 6 Strength should suffice) to get out of Grapples.

But yeah, as JessHorserage said, if you go to the Brothel Madame and start her first quest you can request your reward to be more gold; which will instantly yield 100 gold upfront before even completing the quest.

Hey, thanks for the info. Haha getting past the mermaid isn't too much of a problem, since there's a second path through. I was actually going to continue on to find the Town of Monsters, but if as you say you need to be at least level 10 to fight in the arena I'll go back to the starting area for now. I'd actually forgotten the brothel owner gives you quests! I'll try doing them. And thanks for the tip about sleeping at the inn rather than buying meat. I'll do that from now on.

Yeah no worries man.

Ah nice, you had the second path spawn to the Town of Monsters.

Eh, I'd say level 10 / 15 - 17 as I said previously is more of a guideline. As long as you can beat the first 3 monsters in the Arena you'll at least re-coup your gold from entering the Arena (it costs 10 gold to enter iirc, and you get 10 gold and 5 experience for beating the first three monsters).

As for the Brothel Madame's Quests; yeah that should get you the 100 gold you need (either via the extra gold option at the start of the first quest or finishing the first quest). When you finish the first quest you can use the carriage in the Town of Monsters to travel to the starting town (costs 10 gold).

Yeah no worries, I usually just calculate if things have cheaper equivalents in-game seeing as starting gold can be a bit tough to come by lol. It's also pretty nice how the inn restores your health, so you don't have to use food resting or health potions to heal.

You can go earlier depending on starting points and build.
