Hi!! I'm an artist named Yan, and I'm new to itch.io!

I've never coded before, but I rlly want to learn, I have so many ideas for games!

I'm female, a furry (only as a sfw artist, don't get the wrong idea), an animator, and gaiiiiii (taken by the best <33)

I'm currently looking for easy engines to learn, but to no avail.

If you have any recommendations, please tell me! I'm looking for something an 8-directional rpg style and a side scroller.

Perhaps Game Maker might be a good pick. It's very beginner friendly and is perfect for 2D games such as the ones you mentioned. It also has a ton of great youtube tutorials (Shaun Spalding is my recommendation).
