I don't know One Punch Man so I think a lot of the references will be lost on me, unfortunately.
I was excited about the options menu before I found out it was just volume. It defaulted to zero or very low, which is not a great default. If I hadn't checked the options menu I would have assumed the game had no audio.
The graphics and music both work pretty well for a so bad it's good game. I'd say the graphics are a bit too nice and the music a bit too not nice to hit the ideal, but it's in the ballpark.
I found this game way too hard- I'm not sure if I'd classify the gameplay as _bad_ necessarily, but I'm not a fan of hard games or tedious games and it became both for me. I did give it several tries before I stopped playing due to eyestrain (this is an issue with my eyeballs, not your game).
As a _first game_, though, it's _pretty damn good_. I've shared my first game in the past, and it had no graphics, no sound, barely any gameplay, and a nonsensical plot. My first entry to So Bad It's Good Jam also missed the mark completely. This game is rough, yes, but it has all the pieces there, it's conceptually sound, and it'd not off base for both the overall theme of this jam and the modifier.
