We will have had orchestral, epic, 8bit, contemplative, electro, atmospheric OSTs, ... only "WTF" one was missing to complete the variety of productions. Well I think we found it with "My entry to Lone Rabbit´s", a particularly strange creation due to the fact that it benefits from a relatively standard metal background on which is added a pure thematic delirium freejazz played by an instrument with a very strange timbre ^^ The whole offers an experience to be lived at least once, to be confronted with ... "something else". The presence of the musical score makes it possible not to get too lost in the melodic maze, which is not a luxury. The general structure of the work is also very labyrinthine, and its general plan, again, will be very useful if the listener wants to find his way around the various bends. Very daring on all points (melody, tonal system, altered chords, instrumentation, mixture of musical references, ...), this music leaves you speechless. Maybe after several listenings. Really strange for sure ^ _ ^ "

Im really glad you liked it, i started with a Lydian melody for the "brightness" (using Melodic minor #4 for a twist) and then i just say "well, i think in a journey you are suposed to move" so in the nexts parts i started mixing all that i know about functional harmony(secondary dominants, tritone substitution) , cubedance(neo riemannian theory) and for the D part a little bit of bartok axis (the Fm7 |A |C |Dmaj7 that is apparently absolutly outside of the G# minor implied by the G#m |A7 |A#m |B at the end), always with the intent of finishing the part on a chord that was "close" to the one coming next.
What con i say about the metal memes? the only thing i can say is that im a big sucker for the actual prog/tech death scene and maybe i didnt incorporate the insane riffing of those bois, but they always use tasty harmonies and sick bass lines.
Cheers
