This is so creative, and it looks great! I think this game should have gotten more attention. It is too late to make changes now, but here are some decisions I've seen other's make that might help you with future games in this genre:
- The art and animations are great, you're clearly a good artist. Consider creating a couple more animations so the character feels more immersive. For example, when the character jumps. it would be cool to see their arms swing too. Maybe the jet can glow when it shoots?
- The main thumbnail image for your page looks cool, but there is a lot going on, and maybe that's why people aren't clicking it and viewing your page. Consider just zooming in on the character that is standing on the space ship. I'm no expert on this so take this point with a grain of salt (I just learned about the importance of thumbnails during this jam).
- The levels are fun, but also a bit long. It might be important for a player to complete a level so they can then choose to leave feedback, otherwise they can get tired and might just leave the page even though they had fun at first.
Anyway, I really like this game. It is also impressive that you pretty much made the art work for 2 games in just 1 jam.
