I saw it as well, same as the rest. (Nighttime, cloaked figure, halfway to mine) Honestly was still in trial with game, had no clue still if there were mobs, so I didn't try to meet him. know better now.
**UPDATE** Saw him again, this time I saw shining in his hood... Perhaps the new location for the Dark Crystal? Seeing it is no longer in the Mines anymore.
