I love the polish and the artwork, its probably 1st in the jam. I just felt the gameplay was a bit simplistic and short. I was waiting for something more to happen to bring more variety and with the baby bots spawning regularly the game didn't feel too challenging either and I never felt I was going to fail once.

The game ended before the high of the uniqueness of the game wore off leading to the gameplay feeling overall good, but something in me makes me look at the game and say it's just clicking continuously on baby bots with not much challenge. It has a similar feel to an incremental/idle game but without new elements being introduced.

I think the overall gameplay feels great, I just don't know how to feel about the gameplay in general. It's sweet BECAUSE it is short and I don't know how to get my head around it.

Great game good work :)

Thank you so much for this comment! I love the constructive approach you have to this game, and it means alot that someone noticed the shortcomings to the design! In fact, our team had intended for an additional mechanic that would make a more solid gameplay loop to drive the feeling of "joined together" as well in the core gameplay, other than just the look and theme. however, due to a lack of time, we were unable to incorporate it and we were left with a polished and squishy top down bullet hell shooter.  There was actually a point in the jam where we noticed that this lack of an engaging core game loop was really detrimental to the gameplay experience, so we had to cut the overall game timer from 3 mins to 1.5mins. The reception immediately improved significantly, just by tweaking the framing of the project. Of course this was in consideration of the context of a game jam, in which people just want to play a short and sweet experience to move on. :) We felt that this was really good lesson in User Experience, and makes for a good sharing point! Once again, would like to thank you for such a constructive comment, really appreciative of the compliments, and thanks for trying our game! :D
