I liked that it slowly ramped up. I think the most satisfying moment in your game is when you can line up multiple cubes in a row that match the future color pattern. It would be really cool to be able to lean into that moment. Tweak your cube spawning algorithm to favor dropping cubes in color order and put some reminder or indicator on screen for the rotation and that could make for some super satisfying gameplay.

I understand the want to make shooting a risk/reward mechanic, but taking away player movement feels pretty bad. In the later stages, shooting is still risky even if you could move because you might not want to move or you might be forced to move into an unsafe lane earlier than you thought. 

For such a straightforward premise, you have a lot of options here. Well done!

Thanks for playing the game and taking the time to write this long comment. I'm currently working on an update that, among other things, adds "combos" to the game. This means that if you collect a cube and then collect another one before 2 seconds have passed, you will get bonus points and the more you collect, the higher the bonus will be.
