Agreed and I also prefer to see Jayce and David together. You missed the main point they have in common: Social awkwardness!

But who knows, monchi might turn Maccon's route into a stealth David route to surprise us. It certainly feels that way with all the David interactions so far.

It's true Maccoons route right now has more meaningful David interactions than Maccoon interaction.

Although I dunno how I would feel about turning the whole Mac route into a David route. I think i would still prefer separate routes as long as Mac get some real character on his route.

Maybe have it so it branches off?

That was my first idea too. It would start out as Macs route, but then you can choose between Mac or David and at point the two routes would differ significantly.
