Thank you for the advice, it might be the most useful feedback I've received so far! The camera was bothering me too, and I was experimenting a little toward the end but didn't have time to dive too deep into it during the jam. I didn't have a working solution in mind, but what you said makes perfect sense. I found Scroll Back on Gamasutra and I'm definately going to give it a look-through. It looks like a useful resource so thank you so much for that, it helps a ton!
