Nice find! I got the previous version of JoiPlay running with this.
- Uninstall JoiPlay from your device.
- Download the v1.01.400 zip from the link above (don't bother extracting it)
- Get an apk installer of your choosing. There is a download link for one on the site itself, and it works fine.
- Select the zip archive from step two while using the apk installer, and it will handle the rest.
