I don't see how it makes it more emersive, unless instead of deleting the file (like the text implies) you are deleting the entire filesystem, crashing the service (in-universe) which boots you out of the program.

Though if it closes the tab, I need to open a new tab and open itch.io and go back to my games collection to choose another game, so it's a bit of a hassle even to use.

The game is great, otherwise, my logic on the matter of the DELETE link is just very different from yours. I'll likely keep playing the game; I'll just also continue to not use the DELETE option.

Do you plan to creat more entries for the corrupted slots, or are the irrecoverable flavour text for immersion?

I keep re-opening my game, but it keeps saying files deleted
