I'm 100% sure the spell type was user. It's very inconsistent though. Sometimes, when the mob hits me, the fire damage text appears in the message box, but I check my limb health and I received no extra damage.

EDIT: Would add a screenshot but itch.io doesn't like mine for some reason

Yea, itch.io has issues today with uploading pictures. Could you send me screenshots and/or the save file on sheriour@gmail.com? This is really intriguing as I cannot reproduce it on my own at all.

Unfortunately, my character died from blood loss due to the aforementioned bug. I'll send the screenshot over.

EDIT: I'll see if I can reproduce it.
