The body types on the humans was a test, in fact one of the first tests in the game. It added a crazy amount of work, so I never continued it.
The head sizes are just the artists style, it has changed a bit since we started 2 years ago.
More animations will be added once I can get an animator, at the moment it's just me, and I'm not very good at animating.
Tames having more interaction with everything is important, and part of the planned beta updates. Alpha is ending with this upcoming batch of builds.
