The concept of heroes for hire is cool, but I wish that there were more interesting aspects to managing heroes vs locations they're sent.

PROS:

  • Nice slow pace that ramps a little to give players some time to think about their next decision
  • Background sets a nice backdrop to give context for your recruiting efforts
  • Interesting character names/descriptions to give personality to the heroes you encounter

CRITIQUE:

  • If there was significance to the hero stats I didn't really see any explicit references to it with what I encountered
  • A little confusing at first how you were supposed to send heroes out to locations. Layout of the interface could be re-arranged to clarify some of that.
  • Wish that the game presented locations as specific problems to solve first and then presented heroes to buy
    • Example: Two or three different locations each looking for a hero of a specific stat to have more success and consequently generate you more money from sending that specific hero there.

thanks for the feedback. The locations description gives a tip for what they are looking for. Each location prioritizes 2 stats.

About the confusing UI: I knew that could be a problem so that's why I did the "?" screen so the player can understand it better ( I think it didn't work though haha).
