Very nice looking dojo environment and it's awesome you got all those animations!
The game gets interesting once the speed of the targets increases, and I'd like to see that happen earlier.
I think the action would feel better with a quicker transition between ending an attack and being able to turn or start a new attack. Currently, it's too slow to hit consecutive targets once their speed goes up.
I'd like to hear some whooshing sounds when swinging attacks, whether they hit or miss. Given how nice the art looks, I think it appropriate to have higher quality sound effects overall to have everything fit together. I like the choice of 90s style American kung fu movie music.
It's hard to tell what the diamond target is. Given the kung fu theme of your game, I think it would be cool to have the targets be different shaped shuriken ninja blades. There could be pentagonal blades, triangular blades, circular blades, and square blades. I imagine the weapons to mostly be black or silver, with little bits of color on them.
