If you have done it then you shouldn't have the problem to progress with Lin because it the only event required the human kit supplies. Even if you have buy it and received the package you still have to give it to her at her room.
i believe it might be a bug cause i haven't been able to go any further even after completing androids story. here's a picture sequence showing the issue i'm having even though i've given her it and is capable of having her use her human version.
