:D thanks a lot, I know I still have to polish it more, but I think it shows potential. I would really appreciate your feedback once you try it.
How do you grab stuff? I killed one of the enemy's and went over to a mineral I found. Although when I try to take the mineral (which is dupre getsa btw) or get a sample, it says "Cannot apply action". Same for any other action I use on the object. Other than that, I find the combat system working. Although a little more feedback like a sound or something to let the player know they hit the enemy would be a nice addition whenever you get the chance.
Thanks a lot. I totally agree about the hit feedback, perhaps I can add visual fx too.
Actions work in a special way, you cannot grab all things you encounter, only some of them. You have to find out which actions work and which do not, because that depends on the entity. All entities (mineral, creature, artifact, etc) are proceduraly generated, so each time you visit a new planet, you will find new entities, and new effects for your actions.
What do you think about this mechanic?, I know its a bit weird, and I never got feedback about it. The idea is to make each entity feel different.
I'm interested in your opinion, what do you think about this?: you have to explore, search, and find where those resources can be harvested. At first you don't know where they are, but you have to experiment with each entity you find, try all actions on them, and that way you can learn what resources they can give.
hmm might be too discouraging to new players. They'll probably pickup the game try to collect stuff and their anger might be kindled against it and just give up on trying. I like the idea, but maybe a little guidance for new players that way they are made aware of this or something. I'm interested in seeing how this project develops keep up the great work!
