i dont have such issue from save and load.check your file/folder, write&read setup.make sure ur not running the game under a temp folder.
C:\Program Files\LonaRPG.DEMO
not sure how/where to check the write&read setup, though to make sure its not redirecting the .sav to a temp.
windows folders is portected by windows itself.try execute it by right click >"run as admin"
or copy entire game to somewhere else
