I love the combo system. The use of the visual and audio feedbacks are very clear (the ascending and descending sound and the blue halo). Well done !
Just sometimes, I took another color and continued the combo anyway...

Was the another color of the same type, however? Eg. if you pick red flower you can continue combo with orange or yellow flower as well. It may be also possible that a flower spawned so close to you that you didn't notice picking it up, changing currently needed color. Or it could be just a bug after all :)
