Hey I'm playing on android and im using an older version of joiplay, i turned off auto update in play store and installed the ren'py addon yet it still won't open the game like in 1.01.430.

Is there a way to get around this cos i really like this game and want to play the new update.

It would help to know the error, if there is one. I don't know why it's not working for you, I don't play HH on android.

Basically after i press the icon for the game the screen goes black and then goes back to the joiplay main menu thingy and im using the older version is all.

If that doesn't explain thanks for bothering to read this and I'll just wait for the new joiplay version.

I had the same issue but I went to a different site and got the version previous to 1.01.430 which is 1.01.400 . By doing that I was able to access the game again and it is playing just fine. I used APKPure to obtain the version. I just reused the installed version of the RenPy plug in previously installed and it's working just fine. You don't have to use what I did but it was quick easy and it's working perfectly now so your mileage may vary lol. I am by no means a tech guru but I hope this helps.

I tried that after seeing this but it didn't work but the idea of getting a different version from elsewhere helped so i downloaded the 0.01.700 beta and it works thx
