About the time skips. I wanted to make the story feel relatively grounded and realistic, even if there's still a lot of "porn logic" in game. That means that relationships take time to develop. But showing every single day of that time period would get boring really quickly in my opinion. So, to solve that problem, I had to either make the story happen in a much smaller time period, or make time jumps and let the relationships evolve a bit "off screen". 

I chose to follow Alfred Hitchcock's quote "drama is life with the dull bits cut out" and just showed the important moments for the story and skipped the rest, while informing the players of how much time have passed since the last scene to keep everyone on the same page.

Perhaps this wasn't the most elegant solution. As the story progresses and all relationships are well developed, this sort of "trick" won't be necessary anymore. So, you can expect less time jumps in the future.

Appreciate that you explained why you did it, and after hearing why you did it I do think that you may have a point.
