Hell yeah, what a cool hack. I think you did really well with the constraints that a single page put on the Fall of Magic system, and the parts you left behind were really smart ones.

Favourite details: There's some fantastic worldbuilding going on in the character creation and locations. I love the leading prompts and the glitzy, grungy, cyberpunky roles. I also love how the Chosen provides a focal point that really concentrates player energies in the one page format, maybe even in a more tangible way than The Magus did.

Maybe next time: The vaporwave cityscape looks gorgeous on the cover, but it's a little busy on the play sheet -- I can read everything, but it's harder on the eyes than I want it to be for such dense text.

But yeah, the writing is great and you should be proud of this piece.

Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to check it out and leave a review!

It sounds like you really get what I wanted to do with this theme, which is rad. It’s a bit of an experiment as I feel one-page FoM hacks have a lot of potential! Changing around the Magus and how you interact & move with them is a fun thing to play around with.

I totally agree about the layout. It’s not my strong point and it’s a bit tough to read. I kinda liked the dark, retro aesthetic the background gives

Something to work on if I come back to this game :)

I’ll check out Faewater very soon!
