I really loved the walk and attack animations you put on the main character, without knowing the story it really painted a clear picture of who the person is. I wish I could know more of the backstory lol.
One thing that kinda bothered me was that the zombies didn't despawn or lose their hitbox after dying, which resulted in some awkward interactions. I also think that audio would add another dimension to your game, even just some simple hit noises and a simple background track would really make a difference.
I liked your theme and aesthetic a lot, great job!
