Dub-con, it's a thing. Some of us are okay with it. There's an abduction and some dark elements that subjugate consent, that should definitely be a content warning.
@midichats I did this especially for you, babe
You tell me to touch grass and yet you use internet slang that every other basic-.... uses on Tiktok and Twitter ๐ฌ๐ฅด๐ฅด Go outside and learn how to speak like someone above the age of 12. Have real human interactions off of stan twitter. You commented just as many times as me, I was just correcting YOUR false information to other people. Said the game has r*pe LMAOOOO don't be mad that you were loud AND wrong ๐คฃ๐๐ Take your L in stride. Now I'm blocking you, your behavior is so weird. Should've just humbled yourself because now you look even worse. ๐๐๐
Lol still not a troll but you're still an obsessive fan. I saw your comments to others, we get it you love the game and the developer. Clearly the game has been triggering for others and that definitely calls for an update to add content warnings. There's nothing wrong with that. Maybe you're ashamed you might like those elements? Please seek help though, your crazy is showing.
"Maybe you're ashamed you might like those elements?" After you replied to the comment above mine: "some of US are okay with dubcon" YOUR words so clearly you are LMAOO and there's LITERALLY none of the elements you spoke of in the game. If you call correcting false information obsessive then that's fine with me ๐ What's obsessive is lurking my account reading replies of mine not involving you (Fan ๐) to find argue "points" and making an account only to comment false information on one person. You've no other comment activity besides what's on this developer's page ๐ฅด๐ฅด Only six posts EVER on your account and ALL on this dev's page; all FALSE info. Weird. Yet I'M obsessed?
You're arguing for nothing, you just want to be loud because you can't STAND the fact that you were wrong. If I said something wrong, I'd correct myself because I wouldn't want to look more silly than I already did in the first place. You gotta resort to strawman because you were wrong ๐ I'm not gonna stoop to your level because I don't need to, you were wrong.
Not sure why itchio gives notifications for blocked trash and just hides them, but this time I won't read whatever you type again. Scream into the void all you want because I'm not reading again ๐ Argue with yourself in the mirror. Happy tantrum babe! ๐ฎ
Your comment isn't correct, there is no sexual content in this game. Dubcon as explained by Wikipedia:
"Erotica or lemon fanfiction where the presence of sexual consent is unclear."
There's literally nothing of the sort in this game, you are spreading lies and saying horrible things to discredit this developer. I don't know if you're a troll or what, but it's not funny at all. I assume you are incorrectly defining the beginning sequence in which the MC is made to go to a different location for the first 15 minutes of the game, which has nothing to do with any sexual themes. There's no use for a content warning for something that does not exist, and the game script proves away what you're saying. The main character being made to go onto a ship is not dubcon. I would never enjoy games with any dubcon in them myself.
Edit: You must be a troll because you only made an account to comment this lie. I feel bad that the developer made a free game and these weird troll comments is the thanks she gets. Ungrateful scummy behavior.
Babe, you're embarrassing yourself, I said I love the game. I also said "some of us are okay with it" which includes me. There is clearly underlining elements of consent being subjugated. Dubcon, Non-con, whatever it is, it needs a content warning especially for people who think it's a Stockholm Syndrome game. I commented to reassure people that it is not. I can't believe you thought I was a troll, that's literally me in my pp.
Huh??? You're embarrassing yourself sweetheart, both dubcon and noncon = R*ape or forced s*xual situations and you said that's what this game includes! ๐คฃ๐๐ That's literally false information! So how am I embarrassing myself when you claimed something entirely false?? If you're going to use words, make sure to use them right, because that's a huge claim to make. Other comments literally say the same thing as me to refute that other comment, it has nothing to do with Stockholm Syndrome nor dubcon. And you clearly don't know what a troll is, you can have your own pfp and still be trolling online. Dang, you really need to learn your vocab before commenting sis. That's THREE times now ๐๐๐ฅด
Abduction? Is that what I should call it? You tell me since you're so smart and have a big brain. Instead of telling people that they're dumb and don't deserve this game, how about you educate them on it? Since you love it so much, tell them about the plot and content. I'm sure it will help you get the validation you so crave from the developer.
This is a very old discussion... I'm all up for warnings of possible themes that may be sensitive for other people, but I don't really think it's fair to put it like this. First of all, we can say the universe of Ebon Light is medieval with a mixture of fantasy, and this so called abduction is just made after you drink something that "belongs" to other person. It just don't make sense to use the sense of modern world in this (I mean, c'mon, the person who originately wrote this called it literally Stockholm Syndrome Simulator...).
First of all, the person who "abduct" us is Laceaga (he's such a villain that in the end game he even incentivates MC to ran to whatever place she may like, bc she owns nothing to Gha'lia). He restrained her and brought her to Gha'lia due to a pouch of "spices", because we are playing a game in a mediavel setting and there's a thing as mercenaries, and taking account of the fact that elves are a people very focused on the military aspect, since the start we see a crash between they and humans (later on we also get informed that Gha'lia are in war with some other human lands). It fails to amaze me how someone would react different had they faced their enemy in a search for something that they think belonged to their own people. If you hate the start of the game so much, you also have the option to ignore all the elves and stay alone in the end, going back to the land you originate from.
Well, sorry for the rant, but that just don't sit well with me. You may dislike how the game started, but blatantly calling it that way is just disrespectful. Whoever read it entirely and takes account all the background history including timeline - and, let's be honest, all the LI treatment towards the protagonist, know that the world itself is much deeper and complex.
