Hey, this is a fun little horror game! It's clear you put some effort into setting up a basic narrative and adding some pacing for tension. Great integration of some torch mechanics, a sprint function, and what I assume is AI pathing and detection for the angler fish. All pretty solid in my books!
You did some good scripted sequences for a horror game. I liked the idea of encountering the angler fish first as an inert item, only to hear a rumble and notice it escaped. There's something devilish about transforming the harmless into the highly dangerous in a horror game.
I think for constructive criticism the most important aspect of avoidance horror mechanics is a vague sense of navigation. The maze was a little endless and formless which made it hard to know if I was getting further or closer to my goal. I did like how the light from the fish helped with detecting it.
