Don't call yourself stupid! You only had one week and as you said, gamedev is hard!

For the continuation, it would be good to have things like a titlescreen and buttons and stuff. What came to mind in my recomendations would be that the player controls a gardener that has to plant and water plants while destroying bad plants.

Then you could add time limits, high scores and all that stuff. If you are a beginner, I recomend just joining as many game jams as possible and create different games rather than focusing on one game. That way you'll learn best and one day will be able to make a big, full game!

Btw the artstyle is absolutely fantastic and something you could perfectly improve on!

Thank you for the feedback and compliment!

I will try to continue developing my game idea, I still can't think of the design of the title screen.

The player concept is amazing! I will try to improve that in the future. (If I can implement the orthographic player movement in pygame)

I have a lot of ideas for the amount of plant types, It will be interesting to try!

The high score feature will be interesting, but I still don't see the use to implement the time limit feature. You can give me some examples! I will appreciate it very much!

I will try fitting the jams in my schedule as much as possible! I'm very thankful for this amount of time and effort you put into this feedback!

I still can't think of a big game project yet. Maybe, This can be it. Because, The amount of guidance is HUGE!! I will focus on this later.

The art style and the visuals of the game is not OK yet, But the appreciation of it is INSANE! Thank you so much! I will try improving it in the future.

Thank you so much!
