Here's a pic of the missing sprites. They are completely gone and there is nothing to edit at all. Nothing but blank space:
I'm just going to assume this is the bug you were talking about and stop working on this rom until you say it's fixed in an update.
UPDATE: The same thing happens in Final Fantasy in Garlands' Castle.
