I hope the characters' sprites will be updated in the future, because now the characters in CGs are very different from their sprite versions
A reverse thing is more likely to happen, we're rather happy with the sprites and feel like the style fits the visual novel well.
I'm inclined to agree. The sprites feel.... Lowkey? It's absolutely in line with the rest of the atmosphere.
