This is a bizarre, inexplicable game in the most genuine and enjoyable sense. It is a game that defies explanation or understanding. It's just a strange, surrealistic environment that the player is left to explore and respond to at their own will. I'm a sucker for these sort of uncanny experiences.

Okay, so as a game, there's not much to appraise here in the conventional sense. Some of the more promising aspects of the game are the commitment to surrealistic environments, and the use of Artbreeder for generative texture design. I absolutely encourage exploring more uncanny visuals!

As far as constructive feedback, I really recommend exploring how the environment design could be used to complement a more cohesive game experience. I think a good direction could be to consider how you can encourage players to explore these environments and interact with them more.

I did a playthrough of the game below:

Thanks for the unique experience! I hope you keep developing strange games like this.

Holy cow, thank you SO much FSV for the video and excellent feedback! I really take it to heart as I'm trying to figure out how to make this idea/environment into a game. Thank you immensely.

No worries! I think the way to go is using text overlays to use a bit of a story, consider interactable items, and use what I like to call 'environmental storytelling' (let the environment and the objects in it do the storytelling - this works well for horror games).

Can't wait to see what you do next!
