The music fit the overall aesthetic perfectly and after the first loop around to falling with the "new" character, it was even more impactful.
The pixel art is beautiful in the minimalism. You evoked a lot of feeling with a very restricted art style. I enjoyed the surprise of the endless loop and the risk/reward of going for the flame collectables or letting them be a shield was a fun risk/reward take. Perfect game jam length. If you check the diversifiers, I think you actually meet a few. Awesome to do by coincidence. Great work.
