I had no idea how to cliff-jump off the walls, so it ruined the experience. There is no even place to practice this undefined 2x-cliff jump while you going to need it soon. I prefer you to play the game before launch and review the most hard places for the players where you may make the new choices. Still the walking cactus in the temple is actually very good and imo very unique concept.
I like the idea, and like the theme. Game sounds and the music fit well, while the loop is not continuing without end brakes. Using key-buttons to shoot is kinda fun feature; player are able to shoot every time a straight shots. It would be interesting feature to shoot spikes for make some stairs for the character, or something else. While the player can shoot with mouse, the shots are not ever straight shots. I would recommend to add some checkpoints too.
