Now this ... is why you play jam games! What a treat and different take on the theme and design!!

I've got the song stuck in my head and I love it. His strut killed me. The ragdoll physics were hilarious. I liked jumping around like a flopping fish after I'd been knocked down.

My biggest critique is that for what should be a fun-time, quick run through ... it's pretty brutal in difficulty! If the objects followed the same pattern of flight, they'd be more manageable. But some bottles I had to jump over, others I had to duck under without any clear telegraph animations.

I think one simple way to balance it out would be to regenerate the boss' health when he's strutting. It makes sense. He looks like he thinks he's got it going on, so he should build up his boss-meter. I gave it quite a few runs and couldn't make it beyond the kitchen. I wanted to see more of the funny scenes you'd placed in there! Not related to gameplay, but I really appreciated this line in the description: "despite some subtle signals from your employees"

Subtle indeed. Well done. I'm glad I played this gem. Is the song available anywhere? I'd love to hear the entire thing.

Thanks for the nice words and I am very glad you found my attempt at humor funny :)

Good idea with the recharging. I was otherwise just thinking I'd add a "Ego Boss Mode" where there is simply no way to empty the boss meter as it's so overflowing with his confidence. But yes, it is too hard. I was afraid to make it so easy that it wouldn't be a challenge at all so I guess I over-corrected a bit on that. Next one will be easier :)

I put the song up on soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/sverrirv/the-boss-game-version where you also can read the lyrics.
